Error after upgrading from 1.05 to 1.06

I see that others are asking about this ....

When I upgrade easysocial from 1.05 to 1.06 I get the following error when trying to access the frontend;

Fatal error: Call to a member function load() on a non-object in /home/tracine/public_html/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 916.

I'm gathering that this may have something to do with upgrading Joomla from 3.1. to 3.2 rather than the easy social upgrade. Is there a fix?

Yes I think it's the Joomla 3.2 issue. I've gone from EasySocial 1.05 to 1.06 on Joomla 3.1 without any problem... EasySocial has not yet been confirmed as Joomla 3.2 ready so that's probably the issue....

Hey guys,

The error that you have gotten is probably because you are using an older version of EasyBlog. We have fixed this internally and we'll be releasing another update for EasyBlog for Joomla 3.2.

By the way, EasySocial should work perfectly fine for Joomla 3.2 because I am using that as my environment
