Hi,

We have installed the last version of Easy Social 2.2.4 but it doesn't solve our problem.
The users don't receive any email notification, whatever could be the event (new comment, new conversation ...).

We suppose our installation misses Cron Job settings. We found this documentation https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/configuration/cronjob-settings
but we don't find the mentionned path "Components > EasySocial > Settings > General > Emails > Cronjob Settings".

Then we found this documentation as the website is hosted at Siteground : https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/cronjobs/siteground-cronjobs
I enclose an image of our Cron Job settings in CPanel of Siteground.

Is this correct to make the email notifications to be sent ?

Why all email are not activated (see image enclosed) ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards.

Hey there,

It seems that when I was trying to access your backend, it gave me 403 error. (Kindly refer the screenshot)

Can you also provide us your cpanel access so that we can have a better checking on it?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
We found the origin of the problem, the Cron task settings for Siteground weren't accurate.
For your information I enclose an image on the settings.
Best regards.

Hey there,

Based on the latest screenshot, may I know is the cron command working for you and where did you get the cron command?

If no, can you try the following cron command and see how it goes:

[gist type="php"]
/usr/bin/wget -O /dev/null "https://www.ceta-de-france.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&cron=1";
[/gist]

If the issue still persists, can you provide us with your Joomla backend access and SiteGround login access so we can have a better checking on it?

It seems that when I was trying to access your Joomla backend access, https://www.ceta-de-france.com/administrator/ it still gave me the error message, "403 This request is blocked by Admin Tools. Please change this message in the component options.".

Hi,

Yes it works fine, the client's users get all emails.
Sorry I didn't make it clear, you can close the ticket.
We found the Cron command from Siteground documentation.

I will have a look at Admin Tools settings for the next ticket .

Best regards.
