I was wondering what the easiest way is to change the logo and background colour in the ES,ED,EB and EA comps

Hi Fidel,

For email logo, there are settings that can change it for ES,EB and EA. For ED, you would have to manually override the logo in your template.

For the background color, you are referring to the composers correct? I think you would have to apply custom css styling to achieve this. It also depends on what editor is being used.

For ES, are you referring to the background color of the story form?

Hi,

It's just the email body colour for all extensions that I want to edit (the emails that are sent to users when activity occurs such as friend requests, group invites, blog updates, forum updates etc).

Also, can you guide me on which files to override for logo please?

Oh by comp you mean components. I misunderstood earlier as I thought you are referring to composers.

Actually for each email, the background color is affected by the general email template file and the individual email template files for notification. Example: http://take.ms/Yjgeb

EB go on the admin panel from back end, select Mail Activities and next E-mail templates. There you can find the php files that you want to modify. For example the New post notification is the post.new.php file where you will find the background value <td bgcolor="#ffffff">
