Hi,
When I try to update EasySocial from 3.01 to 3.02;
1) in "Extensions: Update" page I get this error;
Warning
Update path does not exist.
Before updating ensure that the update is compatible with your Joomla! installation.
You are strongly advised to make a backup of your installation before you start updating.
Message
Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.
2) in "EasySocial" page I get this error;
Error updating component when using the API from Joomla. Please try again.

How can I update it?
Hey there,

Actually, this is a known issue for it when you try to update EasySocial via the single click updater.

For a temporary fix, you can download the latest launcher or full installer from your dashboard and upload it at Backend > Extensions > Manage > Install.

You can check it out here. https://stackideas.com/forums/important-announcement-for-easysocial-3-0-2-update

OR can we have the permission to update the Easysocial for you? If yes, do perform a full backup on your site and provide us with your site's access and FTP's access before we update it for you.

Hey John Nelson, Adam Bobro,

Can you start a new ticket for your current issue to avoid confusion for us here?

Also, do provide us with your site's access and FTP's access, and let us know how did you update your EasySocial on your new ticket.

Do take note that single click update can only update for your licensed domain site which means that if you are trying to update those non-licensed domain site, you have to manually download the launcher/full installer from our dashboard and upload at Backend > Extensions > Manage > Install and proceed the installation .
