It is because you are connected as a registered user (or admin). But for non-registered users it doesn't appear.

Because the text color is declare by the template under #g-navigation which is WHITE. You will need to insert css codes below into your template stylesheets.

Because the module area is too narrow for the EasySocial toolbar module, I have turned off the toolbar responsive features for you.

I have changed the style of the login part, but the lock is useless (too small and not relevant) so I would like to remove it. Is it possible to replace it by a simple text ("Login / Join") without touching the core code?
