Firstly, for feature request section we as support will not reply to it. But, it does not mean that we do not care to take a look on the feature request that have been submitted there.
We really do check it, plus our developer also periodically check it out
Where there, other user that have same thoughts as your will vote, so that our developer can priorities the feature that can be implement in the future

By the way, we do not quite understand your feature request about 'include sub-category posts' , do you mean the subcategory for cluster? as example: https://take.ms/VJzpN

May I suggest StackIdea reply's to feature requests just to make sure they're taking it under consideration. Perhaps create a closed featured group where moderators would move acknowledged requests into and only allow voting in that group ? Right now, it feels like our feature requests are somewhat hanging there. I love SI and I lve your support so please don't take this the wrong way ;-) It's all good no matter what.

As for the actual feature request, I will update it so it is clearer but yes, I do mean that by allowing the module to fetch the sub-categories it would include all posts in that chosen category as well an any posts from categories under that one.

1. When we work on a newer version, we will go through them and we go through them really fast because there are tons of them. If your's is not listed there, then we will not even consider it.

2. We do not have the time to really reply them because there is just too many and we are shorthanded.
