Easysocial and Easydiscuss issues

Hello,

I have purchased easy social and easy discuss and I have installed both on my server. In the applications list that my users can install from, they only see kunina and not easy discuss. Is there a way to resolved this?

Also, is there a reason why easy discuss has its own profile instead of it just using the users easysocial profile? I have enabled integration but it doesnt appear to change the fact that eery user has two profiles and can even log out of easydiscuss separately. This feature seems like it could become quite confusing to my users.

Another issue that I have is that social integration is working well for easy discuss, meaning the like, tweet, share buttons, but, I do not see them popping up on easysocial content or on my joomla articles.

Finally, is there any way for my easysocial / easydiscuss users to comment on my joomla articles and rate them? I have enabled comments and ratings but it doesnt appear as if users can do either.

Any assistant which you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

I believe you haven't install discuss app, perhaps you can try purchase the discuss app from our app page -> http://stackideas.com/apps/item/6-easydiscuss then install through in your Joomla backend > Easysocial > application > install .

To fix this, you have to set avatar integration with Easysocial from your backend > Easydiscuss > settings > layout > avatar > Profile Picture Integrations - Easysocial

I have a little bit lost here, can you elaborate more detail regarding with where you like,tweet or share ?

Unfortunately that was not possible to rate comment from the Joomla article section.
In my suggestion, you can download Easydiscuss plugins package from -> http://stackideas.com/downloads/plugins (extract it) , install this plugin ( plg_easydiscuss_content.zip ) through in your Joomla installer.
Then enable it from your plugin manager, so user vote this article through in Easydiscuss, take a look of my screenshot below.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Here is some follow up.

It says that the download for the app is $35 but I have already paid for easy discuss so I am unaware as to why I must purchase something else.

For the social integration, what I mean is that on easydiscuss content all of the social buttons appear (fb like, share google, tweet, etc.) I do not see these buttons popping up on easysocial content such as posts etc nor do I see it in my joomla articles.

As for the other two solutions, I will implement those tonight.

Update:

Social integration is now working for easysocial content but it shows up as a pop up instead of just listing the icons at the bottom of the content similar to how it is displayed in easydiscuss.

I look forward to a response from you regarding this issue as well as to my follow up issues listed in my previous post.

However, the integration app is a little bit trickier than we thought and providing it for free will not justify the hard work our developers have put into. Kindly take note that the payment is only one-time, meaning that once you’ve purchased it, we will provide support for it for lifetime; you won’t have to renew it again.”

Yes, that right.
But unfortunately display all the social button on dashboard for each stream.
You can imagine if you have a lot of social button maybe more than 10 social button, so it will end up to display all 10 social button on your dashboard each stream, so it will look so mess.

Ok and as for the social integration working with my joomla articles? Is this something that I would need to achieve with a different extension or can I use the easysocial feature to support it?

Hi,

I've installed the free version of Komento to resolve my issue of not being able to commention on joomla articles. The feature works brilliantly with one exception, the rating system isn't working. I have enabled ratings in my news extension but the option to rate the article is not showing up in the komento comment box. Is this a limitation of the free version?
