EasyDiscuss No discussions/cats Showing On Front

Hi, I have installed EasyDiscuss and configured all settings, but all I can see on the front is "There is no discussion found" or No "categories created yet" I have created a post and I do have categories and made sure these are published so not sure why these are not showing? Also, I have set up the emailing Parser and tested the connection, but the system seems to fail to send any emails when registering. I have made sure that the server has all the recommended system requirements.

Hey David,

Thanks! The problem seems to be related to the default user group for public users in your Joomla settings. For some reasons, the default user group for public is set to an invalid group id. I have re-saved the settings under Users > Options and set the Guest user group to public and it works fine now, http://take.ms/n1WLr

Hey David,

Hm, are there any posts made in any of the categories yet? If you have not posted anything yet, and still want empty categories to show up, you could enable the option highlighted in http://take.ms/J92UX under Settings > Layout > Forums View

Hi Mark, I have added a post and the post has been published I have also enabled the option for empty cats yet this is still not being displayed on the front end please find screen shots attached. Also the emailing parser doesn't seem to work and as shown in the screenshot the test is a Success.

Perhaps you can try login and see that discussion post is it will display on the page?

By the way, it would be best if you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check with your both issue.

Hi Alex, Yes, I can see the post if I login but it doesn't seem to be public I have made sure that the cat's permission is correct also still not showing cats even after enabling option David suggested. I have added Joomla backend details so you can check.
