May i know what is your current Easysocial version?

Can you try update your Easysocial to latest version 1.3.29 and download the latest blog app from http://stackideas.com/apps/item/5-blog install in your backend > Easysocial > application > install and see is it the issue still persists?

Note : you need to backup your customization file before update.

if the issue still persists, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

I had already installed the latest EasySocial Apps but not upgraded EasySocial to v1.3.29 as I not was aware of the a new version. The upgrade fixed the problem so now EasySocial is back on track.

I found another strange issue; at one of our articles at the bottom a EasySocial field is showing up with and avatar and other EasySocial stuff as well. We have not put it there. How can we find out where it is coming from and how can we remove it. I have attached a screenshot. Below what I can see in Firebug:

You can turn this off by heading to Extensions Manager and disabling the plugin "Content - EasySocial"

Is this plugin not need for any thing else?

Disable it solved the problem. It is the only plugin which show up in uppercase PLG_CONTENT_EASYSOCIAL in the plugin manager. All the other are lower case and no one have PLG as the start of the plugin name. For me it seems to that this plugin have a problem does StackIdeas have any update for this plugin?
