Easyblog thumbnails block not working - Javascript error, uncaught TypeError

Hi

The thumbnails block is an important part of a project I'm currently working on. There is an issue that has been around for a while also in the online demo.

When you create a thumbnail block, save it and try to change it again I get an error like this:



Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'toSimpleImageMode' of undefined

    at Function.each (composer-5.2.5.min.js:28)

    at n.fn.init.each (composer-5.2.5.min.js:25)

    at p.setLayout (composer-5.2.5.min.js:790)

    at p.{layoutSelection} click (composer-5.2.5.min.js:791)

    at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (composer-5.2.5.min.js:311)

    at HTMLBodyElement.dispatch (composer-5.2.5.min.js:86)

    at HTMLBodyElement.r.handle (composer-5.2.5.min.js:82)


This error appears every time one of the settings is clicked.

It seems like I was unable to access your site, this is what i hitting now : Apache is functioning normally

By the way, I've checked on our Easyblog demo site still running older version, I will update our site administrator to update it to latest version later.

In meanwhile, can you update your site Easyblog to latest version and see whether this issue still persists? Because we did fixed this similar issue in latest version.

Note: Make sure after you update your site Easyblog to latest version, you have to clear your browser cache before you test.

Hi Arlex,

Thank you for your quick reply. I did an update and it works fine now. However another issue remains. When adding new thumbs it shows a blank placeholder. This can only be fixed by switching between 'stack' or 'grid'. But even then it doesn't completely resolve the issue.

A fix would be great but it's not urgent as the most important part works.
