EasyBlog app allows creation of blogs but ignores minimum character length

Hey,

when using the EasyBlog app for EasySocial creation of blog articles work from the stream but it ignores the minimum length of posts I set in EasyBlog.

I tried to put in the same length for "Content lengths to display in stream" in stream settings of the EasyBlog app, but that does not work neither. The content length, in my case set to 2.000, is ignored and you can post anything.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Are you on the latest version of the blog app? The latest version for the app is 1.0.19, http://stackideas.com/apps/item/5-blog . I tested this locally and when I set it to 5 characters, there is only 5 characters appearing on the stream.

This is a misunderstanding. I thought the character limit inside the app means the count of characters to get published. But it is just the character count that is displayed in the stream. Nevertheless I have removed the minimum length at EasyBlog because it is moderated anyway.

Thanks for the heads up on this. You are right, the characters limit setting in EasyBlog app is for stream display purposes
