I have the latest updated EasyBlog and EasySocial but after the last update to EasyBlog, nothing is showing up on the timeline of EasySocial anymore. I'm not sure where else to look...
Hey Ryan,

May i know do you have install blog app in your Easysocial yet?

If no, perhaps you can try download the blog app from this page -> http://stackideas.com/apps/item/5-blog

Then upload the zip file in your backend > Easysocial > application > install > after installed > enable the blog app

Hope this help.

Hi team

I am having the same issue. I have downloaded the blog app from this page -> http://stackideas.com/apps/item/5-blog and installed per the instructions above. I have enabled the app and I have checked to make sure all the relevant setting are enabled in EasyBlog ( a new install of EB5).

See attached for screenshots.

No blog posts are appearing in the user's ES feed not are they visible to other users. They only appear in the EB list of posts.

Please can you check and advise what settings I have got wrong?

Thanks

Paul

Hello Paul,

I'm sorry but can you provide us full access to your backend? http://screencast.com/t/iSFeo1hx

HI Nick

First of all, can you explain why EasyBlog requires Super Admin rights to manage it in the backend and not simply Administrator access?

I will increase the level of Access for the previous user I gave you. But this doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, I look forward to this problem being resolved.

Regards

Paul

Hey Paul,

Actually is depend on what you configure this `administrator access` from backend Easysocial page. To check this, you can access backend > system > global configuration > Easysocial (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/rf5c85xnj )

I've checked in your site, for the reason your blog app is not installed properly. After reinstalled again, it work fine now, can you give it a check now?

Thanks Arlex. You have fixed the problem. I did however try myself to reinstall the app, which didn't work. I notice that the app icon appears different to that which appeared after I did the install. This would seem to indicate they were two different file version, or at least there had been a change between the two. Are you able to confirm exactly what the problem was? Was there are problem with the app file?

Thanks for you help

Paul

Hi Paul,

May I know where and how do you get the app installer at? By right if you download easyblog apps from http://stackideas.com/apps the version by right should be the latest.
