Display firstname value in step 2

Hi,
We have multiple steps in the registration form.
First step are off course the name/username/email fields.
Step 2 are some questions about the user. Is it possible to display the (first)name entered in step 1?

We would like to display a message (html field?) "hello 'firstname'" at the top of step 2.
