Joomla 3.5.x is out now and I have selected Wanderers template for my site because it is a great flat template (built for a pro to customize). Out of the box I noticed some things that don't work on 3.5.x but that worked on 3.1.x... Joomla reports that many defaults changed in 3.4 to improve security. For example, on a clean install the language constants show up untranslated.

I would like to know what your recommended developer environment is for this template. It is written in less but that needs to be compiled to test. Personally I still like working in a shell with 'vi' and 'lesscss'. It occurs to me that my way is probably inefficient. What IDE or environment do you recommend or prefer?

We already tested install fresh Joomla 3.5.1 + Wanderers template + Easysocial extension in locally, it seems work fine. Perhaps you can provide us with some screenshot which language constant is not get translated? So that we can check on this directly?

Regarding this we actually use prepros app (https://prepros.io/) to compile the .less -> .css .

TPL_WANDERERS_DESCRIPTION does not consistently get translated on the post-install page running Joomla 3.5.1. It doesn't break every time even when using a snapshot from a VM. On the templates page in the backend it always is translated correctly...

This may be a race condition. Something to do with the post-install page being generated before the language files are installed and read. It doesn't happen every time but I saw it happen with JA_Social_II (t3) and (M)Social (gavern). At that time I thought it was the templates but now I think it is a deeper bug.

If I figure it out I'll share the bug id.
