Custom field data disappear

Hi,
I use custom fields in Joomla 3.7 registration form. Although this data in EasyDiscuss is not visible, when user updates his profile, custom field data disappear. Joomla no longer has this information. Is there a chance to solve this problem?
Hey Pat,

After check further with our developer regarding this, it seems like we can replicate this issue in our locally if allow this "Edit Custom Field Value" ACL setting from backend user permission, I will lock this issue into our issue tracker and we will include the proper fix in next release version as well.

Next time you update Easydiscuss to 4.0.16 after we release, you have to download this original file and replace into this file location.

Hey Pat,

Do you mean they did fill in those custom field from the Joomla registration form when new user register on your site, but after they edit Easydiscuss user profile page and press save button, all the custom field data will gone when you check it from Joomla user edit page?

If yes, is it can update your Joomla backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Hm something is strange, it seems like only your site having this issue.

By the way, I still investigate on this, is it can assign this `easy` user account to have Superadmin privileges so I can check your current global configuration setting and Easydiscuss setting from backend?

I changed the "Multiple" option to "No" in "Users: Edit Field" menu. From now, after updating the profile, the values change to the first one from the list.

Hey Pat,

I've applied some temporary fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder/plugins/system/fields/fields.php

Can you try again and see is it save correctly now?

By the way, some thing is strange on your site, I will try consult with our developer regarding this, can you keep your existing user access for us so we will continue check on this.
