Hello!

I want to create some "defaults" on posts I create. For instance, I'd like to add static text at the end of all my posts "please use the comment form to let us know what you think". I would like to call this text into a post because down the road, I may want to change the text and would want to update the text once so it updates everywhere - across all posts. Is this something I can achieve?

I think it sounds more like a Joomla feature but any help with how I can achieve this would be very grateful.

EDIT: Here is exactly what I was looking for. I guess would be nice for EZ Blog to do something like this down the road

Hi there,

Currently, we cant achieved that

But i would advice you to use 'Text' blocks if you are using our "Built-in" composer. You can create a blog's template and set them by changing this string 'COM_EASYBLOG_BLOCKS_TEXT_PLACEHOLDER' on this path .../language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini as shown https://screencast.com/t/k5ZYuvZO

Please advice.

Oh thank you!

I usually use JCE editor. But perhaps I will look into the EasyBlog editor.

I will look around for this - perhaps there is a plugin that can do this and work with any composer.

Thanks for the help.
