would it be possible to create a custom module based on Fron Page Posts ?

Thank,

Michel
Hi there,

You should be able to use 'EasyBlog - Latest Blogs Module' for your requirement. Please give it a try and see how it goes.

HI Warith,

thanks for your response. That is not the problem. I want to create a custom module based on frontpage module , which I can select for a menu. See attached frontpagemodule.png.

Thanks Michel

Hi there,

Honestly i'm still lost here actually. I am not sure what you trying to achieve here.

By the way, from what i understand here, you wanted to include Frontpage menu items into a customs modules and it is currently not achievable actually. And from what i suggested above(on my previous reply), you can use 'EasyBlog - Latest Blogs Module' as they will list all latest blog post same like you shown on your Frontpage.

Please advice.

Hi Warith,

I try to explain again:

1) I created a custom module based on "'EasyBlog - Latest Blogs Module" and the is on the front page. It works fine.
2) Issue: What I miss the sliding functionality of the gallery (Each post has a gallery element.)
See issue latestpost_whitout_sliding.png and
See desired frontpagemodule_with_sliding.png

Possible solutions:
3) Enable sliding of gallery on the EasyBlog - Latest Blogs Module
4) Creating custom module based on Front Page module - I need a module for template YooTheme.
5) ???

Thanks ,

Michel

Hi there,

Thanks for your explanation. I do understand now. Seems like it is not possible to achieve this currently as those module will not shown those galleries currently.

By the way, from the looks of it, you are achieving same purpose with your current menu items. You should be able to implement the same ways as you did for your current 'blog' menu items.

Please advice.

Hi Warith,

back to the original "requirement":

I need a custom module (really I need it)

with posts AND
sliding on the gallery element

What you see on the https://davidmihalka.com/en/blog-en is not a custom module. I created it for you for better understanding.

Possible solutions:
3) Enable sliding of gallery on the EasyBlog - Latest Blogs Module (it is already a custom module)
4) Creating custom module based on Front Page module - I need a module for template YooTheme

Reason for creating custom module: I can only publish a custom module with the builder of yootheme template.

Thanks,

Michel

Hi there,

Currently, there are no possible ways to achieve this currently as both are using different views currently Most close you can get are you can use 'Easyblog - showcase module' but those module only will showcase your blog post only(without those images).

And yes, in order for you to achieve this, you need to customize them currently and I am really sorry but unfortunately we cannot accommodate your request currently as it is beyond our support scope's policy as outlined in https://stackideas.com/support

Having said that, if you require us to perform the customization for you, you can always request for a quote from us at https://crm.stackideas.com and select "Customizations" . Our sales person would be glad to send you a quote for the customizations that you have requested.

Thanks for your understanding.
