Just paid to renew, but upon selecting Auto Updater, here's what we got -

Warning: require_once(/home/lcu/public_html/media/foundry/2.1/joomla/bootstrap.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lcu/public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/controllers/controller.php on line 82

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/lcu/public_html/media/foundry/2.1/joomla/bootstrap.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/lcu/public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/controllers/controller.php on line 82

Now our blog is dead, dead, dead... we're still on Joomla 1.5 - so the downloadable updater doesn't appear to be appropriate for us.

Any ideas? I'm going to kill the blog link so users don't get this error... sigh.
Hello laura chappell,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Actually the latest version of Easyblog already no longer to support in Joomla 1.5, unless you upgrade to Joomla 2.5, or you have to download the previous Easyblog version which available to support Joomla 1.5.

Ok... so I downloaded the older version for Joomla 1.5, but trying to uninstall previous version or even just install this one I get:

Warning: require_once(/home/lcu/public_html/media/foundry/3.1/joomla/framework.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lcu/public_html/components/com_easyblog/constants.php on line 225

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/lcu/public_html/media/foundry/3.1/joomla/framework.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/lcu/public_html/components/com_easyblog/constants.php on line 225

Hmmm.... any ideas on how to clean this up? Thanks!

STATUS UPDATE -

I pulled a 3.9 version since it listed Joomla 1.5 support in the archives. No such thing... Got a 3.8 version installed and error is gone... life is almost normal again <grin>...

Will be testing here for a bit but no fire right now. Thanks.

Hello Laura,

We are sorry for your inconvenience
From our blog we had announce that we will no logger support Joomla 1.5 in version 3.9.
Links --> http://stackideas.com/blog/easyblog-3-9-released-with-easysocial-integration
Joomla 1.5 is already obsolete and filled with security holes, it is advisable to migrate to the latest Joomla.

Thanks

I did see that announcement, but 1.5 support is listed for 3.9 at http://stackideas.com/downloads/archives/easyblog. Maybe that should be removed?

Thanks!
