Cover in eventlist

Hi. I can place the cover in event-list with: <img src="<?php echo $event->getCover();?>" /">
But then I see the hole cover. is there a way, that I can display the cover-section who is displayd by userchoice in event-details?

I am sorry but unfortunately it is not that simple to display the cover section based on event's creator choice as requested as it require a lot of modification in both php and css side in order to make it happen.
