Currently when starting a conversation there appears to be no way to directly go to the profile of the recipient you contacted. In the screen shot attached I highlighted the text that should be a link instead of just text.

Even if that person did reply, it makes a lot of sense to make the recipient's name up top link to their profile.

To replicate this:

Login to https://peakfun.com

Go to https://peakfun.com/message/3

You will notice that you cannot easily access that member's profile due to the text not linking.
All of this will make sense when conversekit is released. This is targeted mostly on group conversations.

In ES 2.0.9 the text mentioned doesn't have a link. Perhaps this was accidentally missed?

We changed this behavior. That is supposed to be a conversation title. Instead of it being a link, user's can now change the title to whatever they want. Take a look at my screen shot here, http://take.ms/cHNUi

Interesting. I'm curious about the new conversation name logic. In most cases when you send someone a message they go into the same conversation. Unless it's a multi-member conversation, it seems impossible to create a separate conversation between you and that member. As a result you will only have one conversation between you and the recipient. What advantage does allowing the conversation to be renamed add? I generally like more options. However if your correspondence is with the same person (indefinitely) which means it's the same conversation, having it be titled the person's name seems to make more sense. If titling it a topic or idea, it would likely change over time as you chat with your friend for years. I suppose in that instance they could change the message name again. My point is that it doesn't seem to add much value in the current circumstances (title change)? I'm willing to accept that perhaps there is something I'm not seeing.
