Controlling menu item visibility by Registered parent, not Profile Type children

Using EasySocial and Joomla's ACL, I've created a few profile types, with an example user group structure like this (also mapped through EasySocial's Profile Types):

Public
|-Guest
|-Registered
|--One
|--Two
|--Three

My issue is with menu items--I created a new main menu item called Profile, using the EasySocial Profile menu item type, which I only want to be visible to logged in users. When I try to configure Access for the item, I don't see Guest or Registered on the dropdown list, only One, Two, Three are listed. I'd like to avoid having to make the Profile item multiple times (once for One, once for Two, once for Three). Is there a way to configure access for the Registered parent user type, rather than the One/Two/Three children? Thanks in advance!

Do you mean that "guest" and "registered" user group doesn't appear in the access drop down list from the edit menu page right?

If yes, may i know did you create a new user access from your backend > Users > access level yet?

Hi Arlex, no worries. Yes, the "guest" and "registered" groups aren't appearing in the access dropdown list, and I think I have the viewing access levels set correctly.

I've looked at the access levels again, and what I'm doing on the site with user access controls might be the problem--I want each profile type to be able to see slightly different things on the site, which means that I'm probably better off just making multiple versions of the Profile menu item. (instead of just Registered, I have a few different user groups under Registered that each need to see different things on the site)
