Hello:

I am an administrator of my website but not a developer and i need your help on how to reorder the side widget modules? and I want to change an application name on my website, how can I do that?.

Thanks in advanced for you help.
Hi Feras,
Can you provide us some screenshots on how you would like to reorder the widgets and on which page/s on EasySocial? Can you also specify which app you would like to rename with screenshots?
The reason I ask for screenshots is so that I can provide more accurate answers, because there may be widgets and apps in several pages.

Can you also update your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site since it's not working. This is so that I can examine your site to provide more accurate solutions.
Regards.

Hey Feras,
For the widgets, there is no simple setting to reorder it. If you want to, you have to template override the following file provided you know how to move the codes around.
JoomlaFolder/components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/dashboard/default/default.php
For the HikaShop string, you can create a language override on the following language constant.

APP_HIKASHOP_STORY_HIKASHOP="HikaShop"

Hi ... again:

OK I will try to move the codes around now (thanks to you I can find the way), may be I will come back to you if I couldn't.

For the Hikashop I managed to use the language override because you gave me the constant, but how to find the constant for hikashop in the profile page located in the applications widget? (see the attached screen shot), and if you give me the method so I can do the same for other applications I'll appreciate it.

Regards.

Hey Feras,
Understood. For HikaShop in the sidebar, perhaps you can try using this language constant and see how it goes.

APP_HIKASHOP_USER_TITLE="HikaShop"
As for other apps, most of their language constants will be in this file path: JoomlaFolder/administrator/language/en-GB/. Once you find out which language constant is being used, instead of editing the language file directly, remember to use the language overwrite function in Joomla so that your changes are protected from future updates.
