"Change Password" Function Not Working

On the "Account Preferences" page, there is an option to change password. When trying to use this function, it appears that it works and even gives a "success" message, but upon login out and logging back in, the system still requires the original password. In other words, the password change didn't actually work. Please help. Please note: this is a live site with live users. Please be careful.
Also, on the "Account Preferences" page, I'd prefer to just have the following fields:
Name
Username
Email Address

and

Change Password.

Is this possible?

Hello Benjamin,

It seems that i am able to replicate this issue locally. I've logged this issue into our issue tracker and will include it in our upcoming release.
Once our developer get this issue fixed , we will update you.


Also, on the "Account Preferences" page, I'd prefer to just have the following fields:

1.Do you mean to display only these following fields on Account Preference Page ?
2.Do you Mean to add an option to change the following fields ?
