Hello,

This is not an urgent issue. Doesn't have to be addressed over the weekend.

I have broken links to my blog posts in search results. Can you help me with the configuration so that my search results are correct?

As an example when I search for an article titled "Task Management" and click on the link in the search results it tries to take me here:

https://www.mpaktr.com/stories/personal-development/task-management-the-basics

However, this is a broken link. "Stories" is the main menu item and "personal development" is a submenu of "Stories"

The link to the article is actually:

https://www.mpaktr.com/personal-development/task-management-the-basics

"Personal Development" is a category in easyblog. I don't have a top level "stories" category set up. I tried to set one up but that didn't seem to correct the problem.

I'm not sure if my categories/subcategories in easyblog need to correspond to my menu/submenu items or what?

I hope to get my menus, easyblog, and sh404SEF configured appropriately before adding much more content.

Thanks!
Can I have the permission to purge your current all the SEF URL link from your site backend Sh404sef page? Because i would like to see whether Sh404sef already cached those SEF URL.

Yes. No problem. I can make changes in the menu / categories as well if needed. My site is still very early in development so everything is flexible.

Thanks!

It seems like that is bug, I will lock this into our issue tracker and see if we can manage to solve this.

Hello,

My search results are working fine now. Did the support team do something to fix this? My hosting provider also did a server update recently - just would like to know what the issue was in case I see it again.

Thanks

Hey Jonathan,

That was strange, because we didn't do anything on your site yet, but I already reported this issue to our developer regarding this, currently that no other way around to fix this if enabled SH404SEF then re-index from the backend smart search page, it will not show the correct URL when you search in frontend.

But If you submit a new blog post in frontend, it should index the correct SEF URL which generated from Sh404sef.
