Hi Team

I know it's the weekend and don't expect a quick response.

I am getting wget attempts to my site, reading up I found on joomla help to block wget requests on the .htaccess but it could cause issues with cron jobs.
If I blocked wget will this cause issue's to ES or cron jobs?

Kind regards
Rob
Hi there,

Currently, we are not too sure about this as it is out our jobs scoped currently

By the way, may i know that you have tried to check whether your's emails sent correctly or not after you implemented them(those wget blocks)? If it is sending correctly, it should be no problem to apply them on your site.

If not sending, you might need to change your crons using this methods https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/cronjobs/godaddy-cronjobs

Please advice.

Hi Warith

I have decided to not put the block in as I use the wget in my cron string.
I have set up sitelock and cdn with my hosting provider and will see how that goes.

Kind regards
Rob
