Office Template live Demo ... is the perfect example of a blog post with 10 images and no image browsing capability...
Exactly what EB is missing...
You have to each time open and close the thumbnail, not user/reader friendly at all
Hope to see an improvement for images/thumbnails navigation/readability in the next EB release !
Hi Supporter

Take a look at this post here:

https://www.finalbug.net/blog-final-cut-training-resolve-etc/entry/581-fcpx-media-foundations-part-01

Go down to the bottom and look for the 5 images in a row.

If memory serves me correctly I used the Thumbnail block!?!

This is how I think things like this need to work.

Also works with the left/right arrow keys on my keyboard!!!

Maybe this is not exactly what you are talking about?

all the best

Hello Paul,

First of all and above all, your website is not accessible on tablet vertical view - the main menu is hidden it is impossible to browse.

Did you test that page on mobile devices - including tablets (same is true on desktop monitors when there are more images)?
It is not possible to slide the thumbs at the bottom of the page - therefore you can not access some images directly - you have to tap on image 3 to make image 4 accessible and so on ... thumbnails are not user friendly neither...

---------- Off Topic ----------
On a personal point of view about your blog posts on Finalbug:
You are probably taking screenshots of 24"+ XLarge monitor
On average monitor size - even when enlarged - your images are not "readable".
I have to expand the browser window to full 27 inch display to "read" what you show in your images.

Hm, this is primarily because we are not using the thumbnails block. If you are using the thumbnails, it would allow navigation between each images.

One can call them thumbnails, vignettes or small images - not matter their name.
In the end it is not user friendly. Most blog platforms or components offer the readers a better experience when browsing images in the posts.

Hi Supporter

Thanks for taking the time to look at my site and give me feed back.

First of all and above all, your website is not accessible on tablet vertical view - the main menu is hidden it is impossible to browse.

I guess that this is more or less the case for all Stackideas sites right?

I need to look and see how many people look at my site on tablets but seeing as how I am aiming at a "Apple" friendly user base it is probably going to be above average. Also in my case it is just a question of time until editing programs such as Final Cut work on tablets. So in the long run sure this is really important.

Did you test that page on mobile devices

I did yes. And found things to be pretty decent. I have the mobile template and have said before and will say again it is my favourite Stackideas product ever. I believe there is room for improvement. And further believe that it is mission critical for Stackideas to nail this. Ultimately I want my site to be able to slip into an Application. Much as Cinderella was able to slip into the shoe she lost at the party at the Palace.

I hear you. There is no doubt room for improvement. I have spent so much time trying to optimise my site for speed that I probably went over the top with image size/quality. And yes image navigation is really important. I agree.

I am a one man show trying to earn enough money to live and get my shop launched. I simply do not have the capacity to get every thing right every time. Sigh. But then I guess no body is perfect.

If you have a link to your site I would be curious to take a look.

all the best
