Hi,

after updating to ES2 I have the issue that my blog cover photos are no longer centered - they are placed on the left side....

I checked the backend and it seems to be still okay- no change done from my side....

Thanks for your support.
Protostar no longer uses custom.css . Instead it now searches for user.css . I have renamed the file for you and it works fine now

May i know do you have update the blog app to latest version in Easysocial yet?

If yes and the issue still persists, perhaps you can update us with your Joomla backend and FTP access at your first post so we can better have a check?

Hi Arlex,

just updated the apps to be sure....but it seems not to help. Could you please support. The access data in my first post should be the right one.

Thanks a lot!

hey there,

I think I misunderstand in earlier, do you mean your post cover not how on the middle at your blog listing page?

If yes, I already help you make the post cover to middle from the setting, can you give it a check is it work fine now?

Hi Arlex,

yes now it works fine - except our Start / Homepage. There it is still on the left side...could you please check and support me. Is it also possible to place the cover always in the middle?

Many thanks for your great support!

I've applied some css fix in this file -> JoomlaFolder/templates/elegant/css/custom.css

div#fd.eb .eb-entry-article .eb-image.eb-post-thumb.is-center {
display: block !important;
}

It should work fine now.

Hi Arlex,

that's it! Great job!

There seems to be a change within the update because it worked fine before updating. Maybe you can offer this setting again in backend within the next update?

Hi Arlex,

it seems the issue is back again after updating to the latest ES version today....the Easyblog Article cover image is again set to "left" although the setting in backend is "centered". Could you please check again and help me?

Thanks.

It does seem to be center as you can see here, http://take.ms/QiMPs . What issues are you having?

Hi Mark,

the listing photo is centered, you are right. Please have a look at the position if you read the full article.

Thanks

Horst

Hm, looks like for some reasons this issue has re-appeared because the update on ES2 overwritten Arlex's fix earlier. This fix needs to be added within EasyBlog and we have not released the updated EasyBlog 5.0.42 just yet :|

Temporarily, can you re-apply the fix that Arlex provided earlier?

HI Mark,

no problem at all - I will wait for the next release. The provided "fix" from Arlex is still available in the custom.css of my used template (Protostar). There might be another issue currently.

Hm, Arlex actually applied it on the elegant template. Anyway it seems to be working fine at http://www.rhein-neckar-aktiv.de/index.php/infos-news/rueckmeldung-zur-dezentralen-fluechtlingsverteilung-in-heidelberg.html but not http://www.oggersheim-online.de/infos-news/dreimaedelhaus-oggersheim

Perhaps you want to copy his fix for the elegant template into your protostar?

Hi Mark,

sorry for this misunderstanding - it seems that there are somewhere the wrong site details saved. You checked my old page. Sorry for this - please have a look for my current license data. The misunderstanding leads me to the question if I should always fill in the site details to the new ticket?

Hi Mark,

great! Sorry for my mistake! Regarding my old site details - is there a place where I need to delete it?

I believe you have already set the correct one. But your initial post seems to be pointing to the old one.
