Hello,

One question about App Facebook for EasySocial.
I read there that: "This app would allow users that signed on with their Facebook account to be able to automatically post their status updates on Facebook"
My question is that autopost on FB is possible JUST if you are signed in with FB account?
Or... User can sign in "normal" with EasySocial account and on his Profile settings set FB profile for autopost to FB?

Best regards
Hi there,

My question is that autopost on FB is possible JUST if you are signed in with FB account?

Yes it is. This apps is for user that signed-in with Facebook only as stated on https://stackideas.com/apps/item/3346-facebook-for-easysocial . If those user signed-in using facebook, it will append this icon https://screencast.com/t/qe6dFOLzcd and if not using Facebook, it will not append those icons. Maybe you can give a try first and see how it goes.

Hi,

Thank you for the answer.

And... it is the same about app "Twitter for EasySocial" ?
So.. if you sign in with Twitter account than you get icon for autopost on Twitter? Or for Twitter autopost you set Twitter account in Profile settings?

Best regards

Hi there,

Yes it is. There are no option, for user to put their twitter and login in order for your site to recognize it unless you signed in with Twitter/Facebook. Thanks for your understanding

Hi,

I dont know if you understand what I mean exactly.
I mean if you sign in clasically (username, email) and have EasySocial account.
Than in Profile settings set:
- your FB account - determine where to post on FB
or/and
- your Twitter account - determine where to post on Twitter

Did you mean this that is not possible? If yes... than you cant autopost on both (FB and Twitter) at the same time? Beacuse you get icon for autopost if you are sign in with FB account OR Twitter account?

Best regards

Hi there,

Sorry for confusion caused above. In order for you to be able to autopost on both twitter and facebook, during first time registrations using facebook and twitter, you have to link them to your existing account as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/fUDaDTs0GeFm.

You also can link twitter account if you register using your facebook account. But you must link them during registration first in order for you to be able to autopost them on both, twitter and facebook as shown https://screencast.com/t/9HYjVLGdy. Please advice.

Yes something liek that I think

If I understand correct... First you must have EasySocial account, than during logging in you click on Sign in with FB or Twitter login and EasySocial open to you window which you show above - that you can link with existing ES account or create new. Is it correct?
But.. first must we have installed apps "Facebook for EasySocial" and "Twitter for EasySocial" ? Is correct?

Ok
One more question.. is it possible (I dont know how but I am asking ) to link FB Page with EasySocial Page.
So... If I post something on my ES Page (posting "as page") that is possibility to autopost on my (the same) page on FB?

And just... is maybe better for me that will use App "AutoTweetNG Pro"? What are advantages from this app to apps FB or Twitter for EasySocial?
Maybe you know?

To be honestly, I never use this 3rd party app before so I was unable to give you any recommend regarding this. Perhaps you can consult with this 3rd party app "AutoTweetNG Pro" developer.

Actually our Facebook and Twitter app is very simple function, it allow users sign in via their Facebook/Twitter account to be able to automatically post their status updates on their Facebook/Twitter.

Hi,

Thank you for the answer. I will see, maybe I consult with developer of this app but probably we will use this two apps.

Soon we will also buy EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss. Will be here (when posts on Blogs and/or Discussions) also possible autopost on FB/Twitter or just on EasySocial?

Best regards

For Easyblog, it is possible to Autopost, and it got two type of autopost in EasyBlog, that is on the page's admin created and on the Author's facebook. You as the admin can setup to autopost those blog to your site Facebook's page and you as authors, set to autopost them to their own facebook.
And for EasyDiscuss, it is currently, not possible to autopost to Author's facebook and just can autopost on admin's page only. Please advice.

Hi,

Nice about autopost Blogs.. interesting..
So I as admin of site can set autopost to my site Facebook page.
This also go if Author of Blog dont use autopost? So... Author of Blog dont autopost to his FB profile but I autopost his Blog to my site FB page?
It is possible (for me as admin) to set whose Blogs we are autopost on site FB page? For example that we autopost just Blogs from "SuperUser" Profile types?

Best regards

Yes it is. Even thought those Author of Blog dont use Autopost, those blog post will always be autopost to your Facebook page.

Yes, it is. You can configure those based on Joomla user's groups. You can set which user type can update/register their own facebook.

Please advice.

Hi,

Great

On one part I dont know if you understand correctly what I mean..
Yes, it is. You can configure those based on Joomla user's groups. You can set which user type can update/register their own facebook.

I think you wrote that I as admin can set which user type can update his facebook.

With my question I mean if (talking about Blogs) I can set whose blogs I autopost on my site Facebook page (reason is because every user can posting blogs and maybe will be too many blogs on site FB page) - for example:
- Blogs from Registered user : we dont update on site FB page
- Blogs from Super user : we update on site FB page
So.. we select from which user type we posting blogs on our site FB page. Is this adjustable?

Best regards

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Currently we do not have a setting to set which certain user can only post to Facebook page from backend, but you can actually turn it off from backend do not allow all the user autopost to your admin Facebook page/group, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

And only enabled this "Allow Authors To Use Their Facebook Account" setting, so it will allow your site blogger authenticated with their Facebook user account then perform autopost their post into their Facebook user profile page.

Hi,

Ok.. currently this is not possible. Maybe this will be good feature request? - that you add in backend settings that admin can choose whose blogs are autopost on site FB page (for example that there is checkbox where you have selected all or just one profile type or two or three... )
