Hello,
How do I get open graph images into my blog postings? Both Facebook and Twitter require different sizes for these images, and sometimes they are very particular on the image that can be posted.

Thank you
Robb
Hi Robb,

Opengraph images are automatically set in EasyBlog. You can view the page source on your post and search for og:image.

You can also see whether Facebook/Twitter picks up the image by trying to share the post on the respective social media sites.

Hi Raymond,
Thank you for the response. Is there a way have a different image display? We've had times where Facebook deletes the post because of the image. We would like to have our posts on the blog be the way we are setting them up, but we also want to remain compliant with those guidelines for social media.

For other pages on the site we have been using TAGZ Open Graph Pro to set up custom og:image files. It would be great to have that kind of flexibility within EasyBlog.

Thanks!
Robb

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Unfortunately that is not possible to configure display different image for the blog post.

By default, the og:image tag will pick one of the image on your blog post if the blog post itself doesn't have any post cover image.

If you would like to customise the og:image for the blog post, I would suggest you that use Metaman extension https://stackideas.com/metaman so you can customise what image you would like to put on the particular blog post.
