Switch off/hide disabled Random Groups?

Hi SI Team

I have been experimenting with groups and some are disabled for the moment.
Maybe I reactivate them later. Please see first screen shot.
Is there a way I can stop these groups from showing up in the Random Groups Box. Second Screen shot.
It makes no sense for me to show random groups that are disabled.

hey Paul,

Try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\views\groups\view.html.php and see how it goes? It should not display unpublished group in the group category view.

If you would like to disabled that random group widget, you can modify the code in this file -> JoomlaFolder\templates\wanderers\html\com_easysocial\groups\category.item.php (under Wanderers override template file)
