The locations feature in ES 1.3 is pretty good as of right now. But the way that it suggests the locations could be better. For example when I type the city name "Lynnwood", but only type most of it, it does not show up as seen here:

On Google Maps it shows up with the same letters as seen here (multiple Lynnwood's too):

With less character's it still shows up well:

It also shows up well in the Google Maps API3 Places Search as seen here:

The final link is encouraging because Google freely provides a way to accomplish this. This thread is meant to be a discussion about how the suggestion results are pulled. Perhaps a custom list? Is it possible to suggest more with less characters? Less typing for members makes it easier for the user to put in his/her information. In case a voice page is warranted for this, I created one here.
Thanks for the heads up on this Josh We might revamp the entire library in the near future to use Foursquare's location API rather than Google maps api for suggestions.

What ever you think is best. In the last link I placed in, Google Places seems to have a good API for searching up locations (the one I linked to anyways).

Google Places has a pretty restrictive API if I recall correctly and there's quite a bit of learning curve to create an app on Google.
