Location Drop Down Could have Better Suggestions

The locations feature in ES 1.3 is pretty good as of right now. :) But the way that it suggests the locations could be better. For example when I type the city name "Lynnwood", but only type most of it, it does not show up as seen here:

On Google Maps it shows up with the same letters as seen here (multiple Lynnwood's too):

With less character's it still shows up well:

It also shows up well in the Google Maps API3 Places Search as seen here:

The final link is encouraging because Google freely provides a way to accomplish this. This thread is meant to be a discussion about how the suggestion results are pulled. Perhaps a custom list? Is it possible to suggest more with less characters? Less typing for members makes it easier for the user to put in his/her information. In case a voice page is warranted for this, I created one here.
