Files Application not showing in Groups or Events

Hello

On an Open Event, when a user has no attending status (he did not click Attending or Not Attending yet), the Files application is not displaying in sidebar.

In an Open Group, when a user does not belong to the group, the Files application is not displaying in sidebar nor in the group banner (banner on the group albums page and some other pages, see attached MissingFilesAppInGroupBanner.PNG).

Note that despite this, in both cases, files are visible in the event/group stream.

I am sorry for the late reply.
Regarding your issue, I believe it is EasySocial default behaviour where if the user is not a member, he cannot access the file manager. However, he can see the stream for uploaded file.

Hello

As the event/group is open, it would sound logical to me that a user can access the Files application and read the files... You think it should be considered as a feature request?
