When selecting an end date for an event the time is always earlier than the one selected in the start time. In the attached image example, I select the start date and the starting time is one hour ahead of the current time, but when I select the end date the time does not start at the same time as the one selected for the start. Instead, it's closer to the current time.

Also, and I've raised this before, bust most event calendars automatically block out dates before the event starting date when selecting its end date (by default they automatically jump to the date selected for the starting time. This is not the case with the current ES - using the same attached image for reference, the user has to again choose the same date before selecting the time.

Thanks
Hello Justin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

We are still investigating on this issue and we will get back to you as soon as we can with the proper fix. By the way you can temporarily configure the event date custom field from your backend event custom field setting and set 'require date end' to 'yes' so that by default it will always display the event end date one hour later from the event date start during the creation of events.

Hi Ezrul,

Ideally when using the 'required date' the end date should automatically update to the same date selected for the start. The hour later feature is handy, but the user still has to update the end date to match the starting one (see attached screen shot).

This is the only system I've used where the end date does not automatically change to the selected starting date once the start date is set.

Thanks

Hello Justin,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've forwarded the issue to our developer and they came up with the fix. However I cannot access to your joomla backend or FTP due to the incorrect access that you provided. Can you download the attachment below and place it inside the following folder path and see if it will fix the issue:
1) /media/com_easysocial/scripts/apps/fields/event/startend/content.js
2) /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/event/startend/startend.php

After that, run the following url to recompile the js on your site. http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_easysocial&compile=true&minify=true (replace http://www.yoursite.com with your site url).

If the issue still persist, kindly provide us with the correct joomla access and FTP access so we can apply the fix directly

Hi Ezrul,

I've updated the files and also the FTP information for this ticket. When I run the URL to recompile it looks like the browser is waiting and then a blank screen shows.

Thanks.

Hi Ezrul,

I see that, once the start date and time are established, the user can no longer select any dates before the start date, but still has to click on the first date available (see 'end1.jpg' attached).

Also, once the user selects the end date the end time as earlier than the start time (see 'end2.jpg' attached). Ideally, once the end date calendar input has been clicked, the date would highlighted in blue and would be the same as the starting date. The time would be automatically set to 1 hour after the starting time.

Thanks.
