Good day Stackideas team and subscribers of this great community.

After an evening of explaining to friends and family what I do, and how I coordinate with teams around the world who provide important components for my project which I then tweak to fit my needs. I found my self explaining to them how this one team in Malaysia has a work ethic and customer focus that trumps anything I have ever experienced. I literally spent over an hour raving about how impressed I was with this Malaysian team and comparing them with teams in Paris, Belarus, India, US etc.

Of course, the team I was raving about was the wonderful team here at Stackideas.

Earlier today I wrote a basic message in a thread stating that I thought that the community here at Stackideas is the best Joomla community on the internet.... and I replied to Mark's thank you with:

You are very welcome. Your positive and diplomatic way of managing this community combined with the sheer talent of you and your team makes it a joy to spend time on this forum... even if sometimes it is due to frustrating bugs that I need to report. Because I know that no matter whether I am on here to report a bug, ask a question, suggest an idea or participate in another persons thread, there will always be a positive and productive response.

No other Joomla community has this. You guys have defined an unreachable standard... and every other Joomla community and development team is a disappointment when compared to Stackideas.

At that point, I thought to myself. After all the hard work from Stackideas... and after all of us being a bit impatient with them, constantly bugging them for ETAs and asking for more and more features. Despite the delays and challenges along the way. There is no better team to work with than Stackideas and I want to say thank you in a substantial way that really make the team realize just how much we appreciate them. That is when I decided to start this thread.

Mark, Sam, Jason, Jensen, Andew, Ahmad, Change, Nur, Ikram, Ridhwan, Nik, Arlex and any Stackideas team member that I might have missed. I want to not only thank you for your hard work, high quality standards, world class support and positive & diplomatic way of running this great community. But I want to thank you for your patience with all us subscribers. We constantly ask for more and more, and we get impatient, because our projects have deadlines. For example, We were going to launch our website at TechCrunch in Silicon Valley here in September, and decided to postpone our launch to the Web Summit in Dublin in November, in the hopes to get our hands on ES 1.3, Wanderers and EB 5 Beta before our launch... and by the looks of it, our patience and willingness to give you guys a chance to deliver is paying off. Having switched over to the EasySocial 1.3 Beta and Wanderers, I gotta say the performance improvements alone were worth the wait.

As a bootstrapping startup we do not have the financial resources to build everything in-house yet... and without you guys, I would not have been able to start my business without taking on early seed investments or getting a high interest loan. You guys make dreams possible.

I ask that you keep being patient with us subscribers, as we undoubtedly will continue to ask for more and inevitably will get impatient on occasion. But understand, that when we get impatient or when we ask for more features... or complain about lacking features... we do it because you guys are our only hope. I subscribe to at least 20 different Joomla related products, and aside from JFBConnect and Offlajn... most of the other development teams are a nightmare to deal with... to the point that I have stopped using their products.

In fact, the low quality standard of your competitors, often results in us asking for help here on Stackideas. I know, I have asked for help with things that really should have been fixed by other dev teams, here... and I feel guilty every time I do it. But, it speaks about how much you guys care about your subscribers, that even when we request something outrageous, before saying no, you take a minute to look into it.

I feel bad for how often you guys end up having to fix their problems, or make up for the lack of quality of other development teams, by adding features that other dev teams easily could offer as standalone components.

You guys often see us asking for everything to be built by you guys, such as chat and a LMS. Requests that stem from the fact that Stackideas is one of the very few companies that we can depend on... and while we don't always agree with how much effort is put into partnerships (because certain partners just don't step up to the plate), I gotta commend you on your willingness to collaborate with competitors and third party dev teams to provide a more complete Joomla experience revolving around the Stackideas product suite.

Your patience, collaborative spirit and customer focused approach is why you guys are so successful within the Joomla community. For a relatively young team, you guys have been able to teach the rest of the Joomla world how to do things.

As I said many times, the only reason why I still develop on Joomla is because of you guys.

Anyway, I could go on for days about how much I appreciate your team... but I think you get the idea. ;-)
Thank you Jannik It's really because we have customers like you guys that continues to drive us to deliver and provide our top notch services. There are ups and downs in any software development company and just like any other software firms, we do have our own ups and downs too. I have to commend the awesome team here for their hardwork too because all of these wouldn't be possible without their hard work and efforts

Again, thank you for the warm and cheering feedbacks! It's our honor to see feedbacks like this!

You are very welcome, Mark. I definitely understand and appreciate the nature of the challenges you go through as a development team. That is why I decided to start this post, to make it clear that we appreciate the challenges and sacrifices you guys go through... because the work you guys do is life changing. I am about to launch a company/website at the Web Summit in Dublin, which is the world's largest and leading startup and investor event. A conference with 20,000 attendees from over 100 countries, incl. CEOs, Investors and Journalists.

Without Stackideas, I would not have been able to launch at such a prestigious event, as I simply wouldn't have had the resources to put together an MVP good enough to showcase what I envision.

So once again thank you, and let your team know that they make dreams come true.

If and when my business becomes successful, I will personally fly to Malaysia to buy dinner for you and your team as a thank you. ;-)

Thank you very much Jannik, I am very sure that you'll be able to pitch something great at the event and you will definitely be successful. Not many start-ups these days, understands that building a software from scratch takes time and resources as well.

Your choice of choosing a ready made app running on one of the world's best CMS to begin your starting point is definitely going to be one of your most successful decisions ever made

I appreciate your words of confidence, Mark. I certainly hope that I can manage to pitch something great that eventually becomes successful... and only time will tell whether my strategy/approach was as wise as you claim it is. But one thing is for sure, if it weren't for your you and your team, I would not have had the confidence to go forward with this full force. So once again thank you ;-)
