EasySocial dating search module that allow your user to search for other users based on their dating search preference.
EasySocial comes with a Dating Module that helps users on the site to filter searches according to Gender, Address, Birthday, Full Name and User Name. However, there are times when you have enabled the Dating Search Module on the backend and have put it in the right position but it still doesn't appear.
This issue arises if the aforementioned fields' setting are set to 'not searchable'. In order to ensure that the Dating Module works, you will need to ensure that the field Gender, Address, Birthday, Full Name and User Name are set to
searchable. Here's how to do it.
Login to your backend.
EasySocial > Profile Types.
Click on the Profile Type that you wish to be indexed in the Dating Module.
In the choose Profile Type's setting, click on the Custom Fields tab.
From the Custom Fields tab, click on the Name field highlighted in the screenshot.
Once clicked, there should be setting for that field on the right hand side. Click on the Advanced tab and set Searchable to Yes.
Repeat step 5 and 6 for the other fields (Gender, Address, Birthday and User Name)
Once you've set everything for this Profile Type, click the Save button on the top-left corner of the screen.
Should you have more than one Profile Type, repeat step 3 - 8 for the other Profile Types.
That's it. Once all of the fields' Searchable fields are set to Yes, the Dating Search Module should appear and works just as it should be.
