Installing from directory
If you are facing troubles with the normal installation due to the reason that your hosting provider has set the upload_max_filesize limit to 2MB, you might want to try using the Install from directory method.
Step 1
Create a new folder in your Joomla temporary directory. In this example, we'll use easyblog. The path to this newly created folder would be /path/to/tmp/easyblog
Step 2
Extract the installation file, com_easyblog_x.x.zip in your local computer and upload the contents to the new folder /path/to/tmp/easyblog/ using FTP.
Step 3
Proceed to Joomla's installer and set the path to the new folder under the Install from directory option.
You will need to replace the /path/to/tmp/ with your real system path
