Your advise to merge two websites into one

Hello, we have two easysocial websites in two different languages and domains, we are looking to move the second website to the first and use one domain only, we thinked about creating an htaccess redirection based on browser language and create two folders /EN and /ES for the two websites.

is this a good solution ?
I believe there is already a plugin that does this, http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/language-domains but not too sure if this would work for you.

Thanks Mark, looks usefull this plugin for multi-domain, in my case i will use only one domain for two joomla/easysocial websites, i am looking for your advises for the strategy of moving websites to sub-domains

To be honest, I have never see any sites doing this as they are mostly running off on the same domain but on a different lang=xxx
