I'm trying to change the text - You do not have any events yet. to You have not signed up for any events yet. but, in the language overrides, I can't find this text.
Oh, now I know You can do template override (extensions>languages>overrides)

May I know which page text was shows 'You do not have any events yet' or maybe provide us some screenshot ,so we can help you find the string to change the text
I tried to search for the text but it came back with not found. I now realise why, the client previously asked me to change the text so I needed to update that override. Your "COM_EASYSOCIAL_EVENTS_EMPTY_MINE" line helped me identify the correct override.
