I am quite surprised to see that every time I create a Category or modify a category in YooRecipe that somehow an action is triggered to start an EasyDiscuss discussion. I am wondering if you have any idea what might be causing that to happen?

I will also ask the good folks at YooRecipe if they have any idea why this might be happening.

You can see the in the Recent Discussions and Most Liked Discussions modules on my page at http://starch-smart.com

Thank you,

Sean Carney
Hello Sean,

Seems like the issue is came from this plugin: http://screencast.com/t/aQKbeeEH . You might want to turn it off and try again.

Hello Sean,

Seems like it is a plugin. Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? Please advise.

Thanks Nik,

Sorry for the slow response. I will provide you access attached to this reply.

This is what I received from the YooRecipe developer:

"Hello Sean,

I have no idea. YooRecipe categories are managed by Joomla Categories Manager.
No YooRecipe code triggers events related to categories.

It will be interesting to discover why your website behaves like this.

Regards,
Sylvain. "

You are probably correct. I just disabled that plug-in and modified a YooRecipe category and it did not create a category within my EasyDiscuss application.

It does seem slightly buggy though. Is this something you are thinking to add to your list of possible problems to fix?

Thank you, Sean Carney
