Yet another problem with EasySocial

So far loving the concept and organization of this component. You guys ROCK!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately Im having more issues and not sure why.

If I select Unity for the home page it does not show but if I show it as a secondary menu itme it shows. It seems to show in any other section of the menu that is not the home page.

I really hope you guys can help me out.
If you see the link below "Inicio" Start for spanish is my home page. I have mirrored Home just for testing but I wanted Unity to show on top.
If you go to Home you will see that Unity shows but it only shows because is not set as the default home page.

To be frank with you, I am no expert in JSN themes We recommend Joomlashine because their template looks nice and suits our products We weren't really aware of their support though. I thought their support was rock solid too. Anyway I have modified the file /templates/jsn_ares_pro/index.php and at line 370 I have added the codes below,

			$this->showFrontpage = true;


I am not too sure if this causes other implications, it's best you should also try to get in touch with them to check After all, you are a paying customer and they should respond to you.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am sorry but I am actually a little lost here. I don't really understand what are you trying to achieve here. Are you trying to have the page http://new.mateo1820.com/home appear automatically when you access http://new.mateo1820.com ?

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Sorry about the confusion basically I want to show Unity as the home page.

I am currently developing a new site and I created a subdomain but ultimetly the site will be going to the main domain.

I want the home page start page direct domain name to show the easysocial unity layout. The problem is that if I select the menu that has the unity layout as the default home/start page it does not show easysocial. If I use a diferent site as the home/start page and I go to the community page with easy social which now is not the home/start page/ Unity layout shows fine.

In other words it seems like easysocial hides if I chose that menu as the default home/start page. I have added the ftp account as requested.
Once on the page you will see the menu has a Home and an Inicio(home in spansh) they both have unity but the one that is set as the default home/start page which is Inicio does not show unity however the ohter one does.

Hello christian,

I have checked the site and it looks like the template is actually not rendering the "component" on the home page view. Not too sure why but can you try checking with the guys over at Joomlashine?

I really wanted to avoid that as much as I could. The Problem is that I bought this template because you guys have it under the promotion section and trusted this will be a good product.
Unfortunately the support with Joomshine is really bad and I am not sure what to expect they take for ever to reply to a post. If there is anything you can do to help me out figure this out I would really appreciated.

BTW I devided to buy a rockettheme tempalte instead. The template and support for Joomlashine was really bad and it give me a lot of problems. I hope I can get my money back
