Hi,
Running Joomla 2.5.9 and Xmap 2.2.1
It seems that after checking our XML sitemap the EasyBlog entries are not showing up. We have the Xmap - Easyblog plugin installed and configured but still nothing getting shown, you can see it here http://www.kwintessential.co.uk/index.php?option=com_xmap&view=xml&tmpl=component&id=1

Any help would be appreciated
Hello Neil,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Neil Payne,

It seems like your site still using the oldest version of Easyblog 3.7 + Easyblog xmap plugin 3.5 , do you considering to update both of them to latest version and see how it goes?
*Notice: Remember do a backup for your customization file before update.

Hi Arlex - is this something you would be able to do for us or would we need a developer to do this?

Cheers

Hello Neil Payne,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Okay good So i help you perform an installation of latest version of Easyblog and Easyblog xmap plugin 3.9.1 now.
But i have tried to upload/install from your backend > extension manager , i getting this :
There was an error uploading this file to the server.
->
Also, i checked in your php information, it seems like your upload_max_filesize reached the limits -> http://screencast.com/t/onfHtf8W
You have to consult with your Webhosting provider help you increase the upload_max_filesize to 20MB Recommended.

I have tried to access in your FTP, but getting this :
Error:	Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

Please advise.

I will speak to the server admin and get the max file size increased to 20mb then. FTP connection won't work though as its SFTP only, if you can try that it should let you in fine

Hello Neil Payne,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, i can access in your SFTP already, i also have checked in your php information again, is it possible increase the local value to 20M ( http://screencast.com/t/KiavoIEYPz )
I have noticed your directory permission is not all writable, check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/PlL7kt11Fhb || http://screencast.com/t/9v3rt21h7Mrr
Also request this to your webhosting provider temporary help you set all the directory permission to writable so install the component will be smoothly.

Hi Arlex - I have had the php max file size increased to 20mb now so you should be able to proceed with the changes. I believe you should be able to change the folder write permissions via Filezilla or another SFTP client so hopefully that doesn't cause an issue.

Thanks

Hello Neil Payne,

You should request to your webhosting provider to help you set to writable permission in this few directory, check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/PlL7kt11Fhb || http://screencast.com/t/9v3rt21h7Mrr
Because we don't have the permission to change it from Filezilla. Hope you understand.
