I have activated the ContentACL app, and set what categories that require a subscription to read.
The problem, is when you click on "Subscribe Plan to Read more", you will be redirected to purchase a plan. There are no way of login execept purchase a new subscription, which cause lots of issues if you have recurring payment enabled.

This is fundamental error in PayPlans, and this need to be fixed.
The link should be redirected to a primary login window and a link to purchase a new subscription
Hello Kai,

Do you mean you do not want the link to redirect the user to plans checkout page but instead of that you want the user to redirect to login page ?

Please update us with response.

Thanks for understanding.

Yes, it's more correct to redirect to login rather than force a new payment/subscription to continue

Hi Manisha,
I have updated the credenticals. You tried to log on an old site.
I have manually changed the URL myself:

/plugins/payplan/contentacl/app/helper.php and changed line 48

But this is quick fix, and not a permanent fix. I hope that can be a setting in APP in the near future

We will see if there a lot of user who want to change this behavior so we will consider to add a setting for this in the future.

For now you can submit a request from our forums here https://stackideas.com/forums/payplans-feature-requests about add an ability to allow admin to decide whether redirect to the plan listing page or login page.

Hi Arlex,
thanks for getting back to me. But you see that this default flow isn't working well?
You clearly see that this cause lots of extra work for administrator, because the user thinks he/she need to purchase a new subscription to continue? The UI and UX should be improved and make it more clear to the regular user.

My thoughts on this, is that this page is just a mess

Hm, I can't argue too much about this topic since different people has their own different thinking, for me if I look at this https://take.ms/mN3nI , I definitely will know I can able to view this after I login on the site because if you view this article as guest user, how system know this current viewer whether have subscribe these required plan.

It might be just this sentence "Subscribe Plan to Read more" create some confusion for the user.

By the way, I will log this into our issue tracker and see if we can find a better way to approach this in the future version.

Hi,
The issue I am talking about is the next step. If you click on the link, you will see what I mean. The login field does not work properly, and the users are purchasing new subscription because there are no other way
