Hi,

if I select a category with click on the category within a post (see 01_click_on_category.png) then will shown the page

https://davidmihalka.com/en/stories

The page has post with wrong images:

Only a part of image (see 02_only_a_part_of_image.png)
Image doubled (see 03_double_images.png)

Notice: the list of post a category via the menu works fine:

https://davidmihalka.com/en/blog-en/stories

Please help us.

Thanks,

Michel
Hey Michel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The reason that the cover is cropped is because of this settings, https://take.ms/M04KH . I have turned this off now and it would no longer crop the image.

The drawback to not cropping the image is that you can never get the same height for the post covers unless every image used has the same dimensions

Mark,

Just a question: Could you please check, why some images are doubled ? See already attached screenshot.

Thanks,

Michel

Hey Michel,

The reason the image is the same is because of this setting(https://take.ms/UREIz). This setting is trying to grab an image to be used as a post cover in the listing.

When the post does not have a post cover, it will take the first image in the post to be used as a post cover. When there is a gallery, the system will grab the first image from the gallery.

Hey Michel,

One of the reason blog-en/stories is not showing extra image while /stories is showing the image is due to this(https://take.ms/Pcprfq).

If you want the /stories page to show the same layout as the blog-en/stories page, you can try disabling the global truncation settings.
