I'm using easyblog for first time. I'm used to being able to insert a picture - and to make text wrap around it by aligning the picture to the left or right. Well, when I try this - the text starts at the bottom of the picture - and does not wrap. Any special features in easyblog to help me here?

Hi Mark,

I have checked your site and it seems like your EasyBlog is using TinyMCE as your default editor. I have changed this to use JCE. In JCE editor, you can align the image to left or right. This will insert a float around your image. I have tested this in your site using this blogpost: http://helppeoplebuy.com/index.php/blog/entry/smartest-person-in-the-room . You can check this issue and please update us back on this.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi - I'm having similar problems. I insert the image via the media manager but there is no option to select text wrapping. Please can you help? Presumably if I use the 'site details' form attached to this post, it will send you the detail privately?

Thanks

Mark

hello Mark,

May i know your screens didn't appear the caption selection from media manager?

Yes, you can put your site access in "site details", that particular field only our support can view it.

Hi Easyblog techs
Can you post the solution for the rest of us please?
This forum is a great example of how NOT to run a help desk!
Thanks

Hi Russ,

My colleague already provided the solution here in this thread and his reply is marked as answered as you can see at the top of this thread. If you have the same issue stated in initial inquiry here you can try to use the solution that my colleague provided and see how it goes. If you are facing a different issue kindly start a new thread in order to avoid confusion between our staff and other members that are utilizing the forums.

As I said guys - please post the solution in the forum. Making comments like " my colleague already answered this" is just the worst customer service and helps no-one.

If you believe changing the editor from TinyMCE to JCE is the answer, then say so and explain how this is done. You had to do this for Ian Clayton, so rather than say "we've done this for you" in answering the initial question you could have shown us how to do it.
Clearly I'm not the only one that has had this issue.
Thanks

Hi Guys
Further to your reply have the same issue. I am NOT using TinyMCE editor as my default composer editor. I am using Built in EasyBlog Composer. There is no JCE editor option installed in EasyBlog 5.0.22 that I can find

Your solution at the Top of this thread is void.

Please can you update the solution.

Thanks

Hi Russ,

I am sorry for the confusion here. JCE editor is a free 3rd party editor where you can download it from their website here, https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/editor/joomla-3 and then install it via joomla extension manager. After the installation is done, you can then choose the option to change editor to JCE editor from your backend > easyblog > settings > general > composer, http://screencast.com/t/YZY9UiHn .

Regarding on initial inquiry here, easyblog composer does have the ability to make the text wrap around the block image inside the text block. Refer my video link here, http://screencast.com/t/LiZs57vpB .

Hope these help.
