Hello,

I have enabled "work schedule". The system identifies the time zone of the user correctly. The timezone of the server is wrong and is not affected by the server time zone in Joomla. I made a test and there is no different result for "Zurich" or "Vladivostok"....:-)
Where can I setup the time zone of the "work schedule"?

Cheers, Andre
Hi Andre,

Correct me if I'm wrong, do you meant that the 'our time' is incorrect http://take.ms/C5lz9 ?
It actually should respect to the server time zone http://take.ms/AFnL8
If it is not respect to that location's time, is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

Hi Fadhli,

Exact. The "our time" id not influenced by the server time zone at all. I changed to different ones and the displayed "our time" is always the same.

I am a programmer in the SAP environment, but no clue of Java and Co. I really would like to learn, how to debug this problem.
If I enter into the development tool in Safari , how can I find the FIRST entry point, when the program actually displays the "work schedule". The I would follow the statements or go up to caller...:-) And actually play around...

By the way, the F-codes of debugger are similar to ABAP debugger ;-)

HI have activated your user Fadhli, which is an ADMINISTRATOR.
You find the links in the first post....

Cheers

I was wondering, if there are some settings on the "physical server" that overwrite the Joomla settings. I have seen, chnaging the time zone in Joomla leads to a change of some variable in the config files....

Hi there,

Seems like there are issues on our end currently. Can you try to upload attached file at this path .../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/wireframe/work/status.js and see how it goes. This issues will be included on our next release version.

Hi Abdul,

I will try that an give you an update. My site is not productive yet, so no rush..

Hey, please give me a quick overview, how you found that so quickly..
I don't do Java or Script, but I can read or debug programming languages..(more or less).
I need help with the ENTRY point. How do I position the debugger, in order to find the coding, where work schedule is accessed?

Cheers

Hi there,

I checked where those content are shown first as you can see here http://take.ms/PmeRX and then search for "ed-work-status-compare__title" globally and found that those view will be shown based on this files .../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/wireframe/work/status.php

So look further, those timers are based on this class http://take.ms/9F6In. Based on the class name, it is referred to .js files. on this folders .../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/wireframe/work/ there are .js files and they should handled them.

But those fixes are quick fixes. Our developer will take a look more deeper regarding this issues.

I will try that an give you an update. My site is not productive yet, so no rush..

Keep us updated then.

Hi guys again,

.....and keep an eye on the determination of the online/offline status of the work hours.
Even though my local time is within work schedule, the status is determined as "offline".
Is the wrong time zone determined????

Cheers, Andre

Hi there,

Currently, it is based on "our time" that is server time. It will not based on your local time. If "our time" was ended, it will always show offline. If those time are not working properly as mentioned, maybe you can provide us with your backend and FTP access so that we can further check.

Please advice.
