I have an existing blog in WordPress 3.6.1, which I am converting to an EasyBlog installation under Joomla 3.1.5. I have exported the WordPress blog posts to an XML file, and have made several attempts to import this XML file into EasyBlog. As instructed, I have placed the site offline during the import process.

I have attempted the import several times, without success. The Import page show, "Updating..." and "Please wait...", but the system just keeps spinning. The WP export contains only 164 blog entries, so the file is not that big (a little over 1M). After a long period of time (10+ minutes) I will interrupt the process, to find that only the very first blog entry in the XML file has imported.

When I ran the Export featur out of WP, I chose to only export the posts.

Can you provide any insight?

Thanks!!
Hello Keith,

Sorry for the late reply. Please send us your XML file and also FTP access to the site that will be importing the file. Please advice.

Thanks!
