I am wondering what your ideas might be on what could be causing users to have an experience like what was just sent to me below:

"Sean,

I attempted to register an account on DrCarney.com and ran into a funny error.

During the initial filling in of fields I omitted the year of my birth thinking it was not required. I got an error directing me to enter my birthday. All three birthday fields were clearned. I then enter all three birthday fields. The next screen tells me I need to confirm my email address (I'm guessing in the 2nd screen the confirm email field was blank and I failed to notice) but does not present me a field in which to confirm the email address.

I then closed the browser to start over, but when I reaccess drcarney.com/club and select Register, I get the same fully filled out registration screen where I need to confirm my email address but have no field with which to do so.

I'm guessing a cookie was installed on my browser and to start the registration over again I need to delete it.

I did confirm that drcarney.com did install a cookie a few minutes before I experienced the error, but the contents looks like gibberish and I'm not sure what the cookie details are.

Kevin"

I do use Recaptcha and wonder if it could have been involved.
I just replicated what was sent in the email and was able to reproduce the problem. Basically it asks to confirm the email but does not provide the second email field. It loads one but the second field to confirm is not there.

Hi Sean,
I remember that this issue was addressed a while back. Can you try deleting that single email custom field in the Profile Type>Custom Field area and create a new one? It should have 2 fields(original field+confirmation field) instead of one now.

After creating the new field, try the registration process again and let us know how it goes, thanks.

Thank you Raymond,

I deleted email from the default profile type and then added it back in. I think selected required in the Core options. When I try to save the profile I am presented with a popup warning that will not let me save the profile:

All mandatory fields are required. Please check and make sure that all mandatory fields has been added to the profile.

Can you tell me what I need to do to get past this?

Once this is working I will have to change it on all the profile types.

Hey Sean,
I did a regular registration under the profile type registered users and it went smooth without errors. I also went into the user's profile to edit it and no issues/errors were encountered(http://take.ms/uwd8Z). Am I missing something here?
Perhaps you can better guide us how to replicate the error that you mentioned?

I would say that it appears to be working now. When I removed the email field and then inserted the new one it appears to have worked even though the popup window stated that it did not work and would not close out the window.

so, I believe your previous instructions to me did work. I was able to swap out the email extra fields. Although EasySocial did give me the error popup window. when I tried to save the profile.

It actually did Save but it responded with an error that it did not save.

The pop up menu on the backend is quoted above.

So, I believe that I opened the ticket for is fixed. But, another bug was encountered as I was trying to follow the instructions.

Hope this makes sense.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

My Colleague is not around today so I am not really sure what is your current issue, perhaps you can start a new thread on our forums and simplify with your current encounter that new issue so I can help you check on this?
