Thank you for your inquiry. Justin here, from Stack Ideas' marketing team. We highly do not recommend you to install Easyblog 5 RC1 on your live site; it's still in RC version hence there might be some performance issues and/or bugs that needed to be fixed.

We highly suggest for you to wait for the stable version of EasyBlog 5 to be released; which should be available soon. We will release it after the RC cycle, we might even release it after we're done with RC1 reports.
