Why the Share Box is not available in the community homepage?

Was wondering why the Share Box is not available in the community homepage once you login?

Hello checksum,

The "Unity" page was meant to behave like a mash up page where it displays recent happenings on the site. In 1.2, we'll be removing the Unity page and leaving it to be only the dashboard.
